The Deep is a collaboration between old archive footage and After Effects animation. It takes you to the known and the unknown world that lies at the bottom of the sea.

I shot much of the footage seen in the film at London Zoo and The Horniman Museum aquariums. The archive footage comes from Archive.org public domain website and the original music was produced by DJ Rkod which I found on ccmixter.org. All other, editing, grading, animation and sound design was created by me.

The Deep has been selected as a finalist in the 2011 Aesthetica Short Film Festival.
